MATCHUP PREVIEW
Wednesday's matchup will be the 25th meeting all-time between Fort Valley State and Clark Atlanta on the court. The Lady Panthers boast a 23-2 record over the Wildcats dating back to 2009. CAU won the last meeting 3-1 in Fort Valley, Ga. back on October 12, 2022.
CLARK ATLANTA
The Lady Panthers head into Wednesday's conference matchup with a 1-2 record after opening the season at the Erskine College Invitational this past weekend. Clark Atlanta closed out the tournament with a win over host school Erskine College, 3-2, behind a 15-kill performance from junior Halle Mitchell (Denton, Texas).
Clark Atlanta also got some big help from their setters Allanah Drayton-Campbell (Duncanville, Texas) and Sanaa Simmons (Tallahassee, Fla.). Drayton-Campbell racked up 23 assists against Erksine while Simmons collected 16 on the way to their first win.
As a team, the Lady Panthers have a hitting percentage of .071 and an average of 7.5 assists per set.
