ATLANTA, Ga. - The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced their All-SIAC women's volleyball preseason team with Clark Atlanta junior Shynique McGee earning the All-SIAC Second Team nod. 

McGee finished the 2022 campaign leading the Lady Panther in several categories including points (378), kills (334), and sets played with 94 total. The Atlanta native registered 18 matches with 10 or more kills highlighted by a season-high 31-kill game against Talladega last season. Additionally, the outside hitter earned three Player of the Week selections in 2022. 

The Clark Atlanta women's volleyball team looks to rebound from a 13-20 record during the 2022 season as they embark on the 2023 campaign under new leadership, Head Coach Joelle Mafo. 

CAU Volleyball will begin the 2023 season on the road in Due West, South Carolina on September 1-2 at the Erskine College tournament where they will face South Atlantic Conference opponents Lincoln Memorial University, Tusculum University, and host school Erskine College.
