October 10^th is the date for the big 2020 Clark Atlanta University homecoming football game against Kentucky State University, CAU Athletic Director J Lin Dawson announced Friday.

The date highlights a 2020 Clark Atlanta football schedule that features three other big home games and a visit to FCS Tennessee State in September. 

"We want to give our alumni, students, fans and supporters ample time to prepare for an exciting 2020 football season that has a great mix of traditional rivalries and big games against schools we haven't played in a long time," said CAU Athletic Director J Lin Dawson.
"We are really looking forward to an exciting football season this fall."

The Panthers will open the season at Livingston College on Sept 5^th and then open the home portion of the schedule at Panther Stadium on Sept. 12 when they host Shorter College.

The Panthers then head to Nashville, Tenn., on Sept 19^th to face the Tennessee State University Tigers of the Ohio Valley Conference.  The two schools haven't met on the gridiron since 1945.

CAU remains on the road the next two weeks when they go to Albany State University and then Central State University.

On Oct. 10^th, CAU looks to avenge the Panthers' 2019 homecoming loss at Kentucky State when they host the Thorobreds at Panther Stadium for the CAU Homecoming.

Clark Atlanta has away dates at Savannah State University and Fort Valley State University the following  two weeks.

On Halloween, CAU hosts SIAC East foe Benedict College.  The 2020 regular season will end on Nov. 7^th at Panther Stadium with the annual battle against Atlanta University Center rival Morehouse College. CAU has defeated Morehouse the last two times the Panthers have hosted their long-time rival, including a 30-13 win in 2018.  

Ticket prices remain the same from last season - $30 for the homecoming game, $15 for the three other home games.
