Road Loss Halts CAU's Two-Game Win Streak

Box Score Columbia, S.C.--Clark Atlanta University lacked offensive production as their two-game win streak is snapped in a 24-0 loss to Benedict College on the road last Saturday. After a low scoring first half with the Tigers ushering a slim 3-0 into half-time, Benedict scored 21 unanswered points in the third period. The Panthers (2-4, 1-3) managed only 89 total rushing yards on 41 attempts led by Montavious Taylor and Deonte Eckwood with 39 and 35 yards, respectively. Junior linebacker Brenard Williams led CAU with a game-high 11 tackles including seven solo tackles. Next, the Panthers, who currently sits in fourth place in the SIAC East Division, will host Albany State for Homecoming Saturday, Oct. 26, at 2 p.m.
