CARROLLTON, Ga. — Clark Atlanta's women's track and field team delivered a balanced performance across sprints, relays, and field events at the UWG Legends Track Meet on April 3rd, highlighted by multiple top-four finishes and key scoring contributions.
Leading the way on the track, Lailah Sellers secured a second-place finish in the 800 meters with a time of 2:19.13, earning eight points for the Lady Panthers. In the hurdles, Genesis Washington added to the team total with a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles (1:06.24), while Kiyami Zimmerman followed closely behind in fifth place.
Clark Atlanta also saw success in relay competition, where the 4x100-meter relay "B" team captured a third-place finish in 48.72, adding valuable points to the team score.
In the field events, the Lady Panthers showcased strength in the jumps. Kameron Charles led the group with a second-place finish in the triple jump (10.70m), while K'Maiyah Brown followed with a third-place finish (10.17m). Morgan Graham added another podium performance with a third-place finish in the long jump (5.35m).
Clark Atlanta also picked up points in the throws, as Dae'Janae Hannah recorded a fourth-place finish in the discus with a mark of 38.81 meters. Additional scoring efforts came from Brooklyn Lacy, who placed fifth in the javelin (14.20m), and Jayme Redmond, who contributed in the shot put with a seventh-place finish.
On the track, earlier sprint performances included Jada Hyman and Morgan Graham competing in the 100 meters, while the 200 meters saw participation from Karon Warren, Lailah Sellers, and Malachia Abney as the Lady Panthers continued to build depth across sprint events.
Clark Atlanta's fifth-place finish reflects a strong collective effort, with contributions across multiple disciplines.
