Lady Panthers Take First Place at Savannah State

SAVANNAH, Ga. — Clark Atlanta's women's track and field team turned in a strong all-around performance Saturday, winning the team championship at the Tiger Relays behind standout performances on the track and in the field.
The Lady Panthers accumulated 239 points across the meet, showcasing depth and consistency in multiple events to secure the team title. Albany State finished second with 184 points, while other participating programs rounded out the competition in Savannah.
Clark Atlanta was highlighted by Jada Hyman, who captured the 400-meter dash title, delivering one of the team's top performances of the meet and adding valuable points toward the Panthers' team total.
In the 100-meter dash, the Lady Panthers placed multiple athletes among the top finishers. Aniylah Whiting led the group with a third-place finish, while Morgan Graham added points for Clark Atlanta by finishing eighth in the event.
Clark Atlanta's success came from contributions throughout the lineup, as the Lady Panthers consistently placed athletes in scoring positions across the meet to maintain a comfortable margin in the team standings.
The victory continues a strong outdoor season for the Lady Panthers, whose balanced performances across sprint and field events helped propel the program to the top of the leaderboard at the Tiger Relays.
Clark Atlanta will look to build on the momentum as the outdoor track and field season continues in the coming weeks.
