Daria Bush Earns SIAC Softball Pitcher of the Week Honors

SIAC strikeout leader earns Pitcher of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced its weekly softball honors with Clark Atlanta freshman Daria Bush earning SIAC Pitcher of the Week.

The freshman from Tampa, Florida, willed her team to a 3-0 record this weekend after sweeping the Allen University Yellow Jackets. Bush struck out 18 batters while only allowing one earned run in the series. Daria currently leads the conference in strikeouts (111), wins (14), and innings pitched (140).

The Lady Panthers return to the diamond on Wednesday, March 25, as they host Voorhees for a doubleheader starting at 3 p.m. at Lady Panther Softball Field.
