Alexis Daphney was a force in the circle for the Lady Panthers, slamming the door on the opposition to secure the shutout and collect her first wins of the season.
GAME ONE - Clark Atlanta 9, Voorhees 0
CAU opened with a shutdown defensive inning, capped by a sharp snag at short to keep Voorhees scoreless at 0–0. The Lady Panthers quickly jumped ahead 2–0 after
Sydney Strickland's bunt single and an RBI triple from
Lena Sellam. CAU extended the lead to 3–0 in the second on
Alexis Daphney's RBI. By the fourth, back‑to‑back hits from
Jadin Broadnax and Sellam pushed the advantage to 9–0, sealing the dominant start.
GAME TWO - Clark Atlanta 11, Voorhees 0
The Lady Panthers surged ahead early, taking a 4–0 lead in the first behind RBI swings from
Maliyah Ward,
Jadin Broadnax, and
Giavanni D'Amico. The Panthers extended the margin to 8–0 in the fourth as Broadnax and
Lena Sellam added essential slams. In the circle,
Zoee Barrett set the tone with steady early innings before
Alexis Daphney closed the door, retiring Voorhees to secure the shutout.
