Men's Basketball Projected to Win SIAC Eastern Division, Two Panthers Earn Preseason Honors

SIAC Men's Basketball Preseason accolades announced

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced its 2025-26 Preseason All-Conference teams. Ny'Mire Little and Kharye Cayne earned Third-Team honors.

Ny'Mire Little made an instant impact in his first year with the Panthers. The Chester, Pa. native averaged 9.1 points per game with a season-high 26 points against cross-campus rival Morehouse College. He also shot 31% from long range in 2024.

Kharye Cayne looks to pick up right where he left off after winning the 2023-24 SIAC Defensive Player of the Year before sitting out the 2025-26 season due to injury. Cayne ranked second in Division II with 107 total blocks for an average of 3.45 per game. Cayne ranked fifth in the conference in rebounding with an average of 8.1 boards per contest. The Raleigh native swatted a career-high 10 blocks in a win over cross-campus rival Morehouse.

Clark Atlanta men's basketball won the 2024-25 SIAC Eastern Division title for the second-straight season after finishing 19-10 (15-5 SIAC) overall.
