Lady Panthers Secure Third Place Finish at SIAC Championships, Six Earn All-Conference Honors

Track and Field finishes in third place at SIAC Championships

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Clark Atlanta women's track and field team finished the 2025 SIAC Championships in third place with a total of 116 points across several dominant performances from the Lady Panthers.

Clark Atlanta's Shynique McGee saw the podium twice as she finished the women's javelin throw (31.97m) and triple jump (11.25m) in 2nd place. In the women's 4x100 meter relay, the team of Morgan Graham, Anniyah Williams, Mariah Young, and Jayla Kennedy also finished in 2nd place with a time of 46.50.

Jayla Kennedy reached the podium again after securing a 2nd place finish in the women's 100-meter dash, running a time of 11.59. Kennedy also placed 3rd (24.13) in the women's 200-meter race, followed by her teammate Anniyah Williams in 4th place (24.37).

Acacia Lofton earned the lone gold medal for the Lady Panthers as she won the women's pole vault with a leap of 2.75m.

ALL-CONFERENCE

After a successful season full of record-breaking performances for the Lady Panthers, several runners earned all-conference honors, starting with Shynique McGee, who was selected to the SIAC First Team in the javelin and heptathlon. McGee also earned Second Team honors in the triple jump.

Among the other Lady Panthers selected to the Second Team was the 4x100 relay team of Morgan Graham, Jayla Kennedy, Anniyah Williams, and Karon Warren. The 4x400 relay team of Jayla Kennedy, Kiyami Zimmerman, Karon Warren, and Anniyah Williams also secured a Second Team selection.
