Bailey Named SIAC WBB Coach of the Year, Evans, Garner, and Jones Earn Postseason Honors

Head coach Tony Bailey named Coach of the Year

ATLANTA – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its Women's Basketball postseason honors, with Clark Atlanta head coach Tony Bailey earning SIAC Coach of the Year. Bailey led the Lady Panthers to a conference-best 23-7 overall record and a 15-4 mark in SIAC play, securing the 2025 regular-season and Eastern Division championships.

Bailey guided the Lady Panthers to their second-most wins in a single season (23) in program history while claiming his second Eastern Division title as a head coach.

Three Clark Atlanta players also received All-SIAC recognition, led by Corriana Evans, who was named Defensive Player of the Year and earned a First Team selection. Atreonia Garner also received First Team honors, while Trinity Jones was named to the Second Team.
Evans led the conference in blocks (37) and ranked second on the team in rebounds per game (5.6) and total rebounds (169). She recorded five double-doubles this season, highlighted by a season-high 21 points in a win over Fort Valley State and a season-best 16 rebounds in a victory against Savannah State.

Sophomore Atreonia Garner ranked second in the SIAC in scoring, averaging 15.1 points per game, while leading the Lady Panthers in rebounding (6.6 rpg). The Spanaway, Washington, native scored in double figures in 26 of 30 games, including a season-high 27 points in a win over Tuskegee.

Trinity Jones ranked fourth in the conference in scoring, averaging 12.9 points per game. She posted a season-high 25 points in a win over Miles College.
