JACKSON, Tenn. – The Lady Panther came up with one point shy in their loss to Lane on the road. Every panther that touched the court made an offensive contribution but in the end the Dragons climbed back, charging a battle till the end.

HOW IT HAPPENED  

• The Lady Panthers put the petal to the metal to start the match against the Lane dragons, finding themselves a 26-14 going into the next frame.  

• Riding the wave of the previous quarter, Clark held Lane for the first two minutes, finding their largest lead of 21 

• The Lady Dragons finally responded in the third frame, outscoring the panthers 19-15, to spark a fire that led them through the remainder of the game 

• Two lead changes and four ties, made for a true battle through regulations, send the match into overtime where the Lady Panthers didn't find victory, 79-80 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE  

• Five panthers were in double digits scoring, led by Atreonia Garner, followed by were in double digits scoring, led by Atreonia Garner with 19, followed by Trinity Jones, Joirdyn Smith, Aanisah Moncrief, and Beulah Odiong all with 10

• Clark Atlanta led in points off turnovers 21-18, edged EWU in rebound 39-38, and led the game with eight three-pointers, shooting 39% from long range.
