Lady Panthers Compete at Emory Spring Break Classic

ATLANTA, Ga. – In just their fourth meet of the season, the Clark Atlanta women's track and field team continues to break school records. The Panthers competed across town at the Emory Spring Break Classic, hosted by Emory University at the Woodruff Athletic Complex.

This week, Morgan Graham, Jayla Kennedy, Mariah Young, and Anniyah Williams set a school record in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 46.50 seconds.

Clark Atlanta also set a program record in the 4x200-meter relay, finishing in 1:44.00. The relay team featured Kennedy, Graham, Williams, and Kiyami Zimmerman.
Genesis Washington continued to shine in the 100-meter hurdles, finishing second with a time of 14.79.

Kennedy broke her own school record in the 100-meter dash for the third consecutive week, placing third in 11.83. Karon Warren sprinted to victory in the 400 meters, winning in 56.68.
Graham also placed sixth in the long jump with a mark of 5.54 meters.
