ATLANTA, Ga. | The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has named Clark Atlanta freshman Ymari Blackmon SIAC Pitcher Of The Week for her performances during this past weekend in conference play.

Blackmon went 2-0 in two starts and helped push Clark Atlanta to a 3-0 sweep of Allen University this past weekend. The Boston, Massachusetts native struck out five batters across two games this weekend while only allowing four runs and zero runs in the series finale. 

The Lady Panthers swept Allen University this weekend by scores of 10-2, 12-4, and 13-0.

The Clark Atlanta women's softball returns to action on Thursday, March 9, as they head to the SIAC Crossover Tournament in Jasper, Alabama. The Lady Panthers start day one with matchups against Miles College and Spring Hill.
