Lady Panthers Open The Season At The Berry Victor Icebreaker Duals

ROME, Ga. | The Clark Atlanta women's track team opened the 2023 campaign at the Berry Victor Icebreaker Duals hosted by Berry College at Valhalla Stadium in Rome, Georgia.

WOMEN'S 100M

The Lady Panthers started the day with the 100-meter race. Anniyah Williams finished in the top five with a third-place finish (12.50) followed by Quonee Bercy in 30th place (14.98).

WOMEN'S 200M

Anniyah Williams finished the 200-meter in seventh place (25.84) followed by Karon Warren in eighth place (26.32), and Jayla Hartley-Scott in ninth (26.45).

WOMEN'S 400M

Karon Williams registered a top-five finish with her second-place performance (59.73) in the 400 meter. Hartley-Scott finished in 13th (1:07.24) followed by Kaylin Strahan in 14th (1:07.89), and Arianna Osa-oni in 16th (1:09.07). Malachia Abney and Mariah Young rounded out the Lady Panthers as Abney finished in 18th (1:09.82) and Young in 19th (1:10.53).

WOMEN'S 400M HURDLES

Arianna Osa-oni finished in 11th place (1:25.40).

WOMEN'S 800M

Naomi Andrews recorded a 28th-place finish in the 800-meter hurdles (2:47.57).

WOMEN'S 3000M STEEPLE

Miracle Smith landed in the top 10 with a sixth-place finish (14:56.86) in the 3000-meter steeple chase.

WOMEN'S 5000M

Miracle Smith rounded out the pack in 50th place (23:44.54).

WOMEN'S HIGH JUMP

Naomi Andrews won the high jump event, finishing in first place with a 1.51m jump. Maliyah White rounded out the top five after finishing fifth with a 1.46m jump.

WOMEN'S LONG JUMP

Maliyah White finished in fifth place (4.68m) followed by Shynique McGee in sixth (4.52m).
Quonee Bercy landed in 13th place (3.72m) to round out the Lady Panthers competing in the long jump.

WOMEN'S SHOT PUT

Quonee Bercy came in 28th place with a 6.82m throw.

WOMEN'S TRIPLE JUMP

Shynique McGee registered a sixth-place finish (9.94m).

WOMEN'S 4x100 RELAY

The "A" heat team of Isis Lewis, Jayla Hartley-Scott, Anniyah Williams, and Shynique McGee finished in third place with a time of 49.78. The "B" team of Mariah Young, Quonee Bercy, Maliyah White, and Kaylin Strahan registered a seventh-place finish (53.32.

WOMEN'S 4x400 RELAY

Karon Warren, Mariah Young, Anniyah Williams, and Jayla Hartley-Scott finished the 4x400 relay in fourth place with a time of 4:10.82 followed by the "B" team of Isis Lewis, Malachia Abney, Kaylin Strahan, and Arianna Osa-oni in 11th place (4:40.61).
