CAU Hosts Third Annual Panther Invitational

ATLANTA, Ga. | The Clark Atlanta women's track team finished the third annual Panther Invitational in ninth place out of 16 teams competing in the event. Naomi Andrews highlighted the day with a first place finish in the women's high jump event.

WOMEN'S 100M

Anniyah Williams finished the women's 100-meter race in fourth place with a time of 12.54 to lead the way for the Lady Panthers in heat one. In heat two, Isis Lewis rounded out the race in 16th (13.04) followed by Kaylin Strahan in 18th (13.19). In heat four, Quonee Bercy finished in 28th (14.57).

WOMEN'S 200M

Williams registered her second top-five finish of the day as she placed second (25.49) in the 200-meter for heat two. Kaylin Strahan logged a 22nd-place finish (27.27) in the second heat. Jayla Hartley Scott finished in 10th (26.23) followed by Isis Lewis in 13th (26.68) in the third heat. Mariah Young rounded out the fifth heat for a 26th-place finish (28.41).

WOMEN'S 400M

Karon Warren placed fifth in the women's 400-meter with a time of 59.04. Jayla Hartley-Scott finished in 10th (1:01.23) in the second heat. In heat three, Mariah Young finished in 21st (1:08.18), Malachia Abney in 22nd (1:09.20), and Arianna Osa-oni in 23rd (1:24.99).

WOMEN'S 400M HURDLES

Arianna Osa-oni finished in 11th (1:24.35).

WOMEN'S 800M

Miracle Smith placed in eighth (2:31.62).

WOMEN'S DISCUS THROW

Kaia Barnett finished in eighth with a 33.29-meter throw.

WOMEN'S HAMMER THROW

Barnett placed 11th (25.56m) in the hammer throw.

WOMEN'S HIGH JUMP

Naomi Andrews picked up a win in the women's high jump with a first place finish (1.60m). Maliyah White rounded out in eighth place (1.45m).

WOMEN'S LONG JUMP

Shynique McGee finished in 15th (4.70m) followed by her fellow Lady Panther Maliyah White in 18th (4.59m).

WOMEN'S SHOT PUT

Kaia Barnett placed 11th with a 9.73m throw. Quonee Bercy finished in 24th (6.97m).

WOMEN'S TRIPLE JUMP

Shynique McGee finished the women's triple jump in fourth place with a 10.65m jump. Maliyah White finished just three places behind McGee in seventh (10.29m) Quonee Bercy placed 11th (9.51m).

WOMEN'S 4X100M RELAY

Isis Lewis, Anniyah Williams, Shynique McGee, and Jayla Hartley Scott finished in fifth place (49.17) in heat one. In heat two, Mariah Young, Kaylin Strahan, Quonee Bercy, and Maliyah White finished in seventh (52.30).

WOMEN'S 4X400M RELAY

Jayla Hartley-Scott, Anniyah Williams, Naomi Andrews, and Miracle Smith finished in second place with a time of 4:19.45. Isis Lewis, Mariah Young, Malchia Abney, and Ariana Oso-oni rounded out the relay in seventh place (4:51.98).
