The Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers will look for their first win of the season on Saturday when they host Central State University at 2 p.m. in L.S. Epps Gymnasium. 
CAU (0-5) is coming off a rough 115-53 loss at Tuskegee Monday, a game in which the Lady Panthers hit only twenty baskets the entire game and were outrebounded 65-16.  
Reagan Jackson was the only Lacy Panther who scored in double figures as she scored 13 points. 
But before that game, Clark Atlanta had lost their previous four games by a total of just 17 points and had double-digit leads in each game.  Jackson leads the Lady Panthers in scoring with 19 points per game, including a 33-point effort against West Georgia.  Fellow senior 
Autum Morings averages 6.8 rebounds per game to go with her 6.6 points per game.  In her first regular season in a CAU uniform, 
Denise Stine averages nearly three assists a game, pulls down six boards per game, and is averaging nine points per game. 
Saturday they take on a Central State squad that is also coming off a big loss, having fallen to Wayne State 102-51 Wednesday.
But the Marauders are led by Kendi London who averages 12.3 points per game and Cathryn Jones who had averages 8.3 points per game and scored 23 points in their only win so far this season, a 92-71 victory over the University of the Virgin Islands. 
The series between the two schools has been even the past eight games, which each team winning four games.  CAU defeated Central State 77-70 in Wilberforce in 2019-20.  The last time Central State played CAU in Atlanta was the 2017-18 season when the Lady Panthers got a come-from-behind 85-81 victory.
