MACON, Ga. - Clark Atlanta University's women's and men's cross country teams both competed Friday evening at the Julius Johnson Invitational at Mercer University. The men's team came in 4th
place with an average total time of 35:45.80. The women's team also landed in 4th with an average time of 26:18.26.

For the men, Mercer University earned 1st place with a total time of 2:23:24.03. Followed by Armstrong State University with a total time of 2:31:26.71 and Georgia Military College with a total time of 2:44:15.71. CAU ultimately placed 4th out of 6teams with a total time of 2:58:48.96. Additionally
Kilan Pace recorded a time of 34:53.34, ranking 22nd out of 44 runners.
Aaron Crawford landed in 24th place followed by
Tykeenan Jones in 26th and
Jamaal Wade in 30th.

As for the women, Georgia Southern University earned 1st place with a total time of 1:39:59.82. Followed by Mercer University with a total time of 1:41:01.28 and Armstrong State University with a total time of 1:50:14.34. The ladies subsequently placed 4th out of 8 teams with a total time of 2:11:31.28.
Tamera Julkes recorded a time of 22:43.50, ranking 24th out of 52 runners.
KaTara Burks came in 32nd place followed by
Lanique Ellis in 44th.
