Hampton, Ga. — At their home-hosted CAU Panther Invitational, Clark Atlanta's cross country squads delivered commendable performances as a backdrop for a competitive field.
On the women's side, the Lady Panthers secured 3rd place in the team standings with 80 points, finishing behind Columbus State and Agnes Scott. MileSplit United States Individually, Lailah Sellers paced the squad with a top-10 finish in 9th place (23:35.3). Teammates Danielle Thompson (16th), Shiloh Brooks (18th), Asia Keys (19th), Genesis Washington (22nd), Karon Warren (25th), and Malachia Abney (28th) rounded out the scoring efforts. On the men's side, the Panthers placed 4th in team competition with 104 points, competing against strong squads such as Morehouse and Columbus State. MileSplit United States Leading the way for CAU was Tyree Tillis, who crossed in 14th place (31:34.3). Additional point contributors included Nicholas Barnett (21st), Elijah Hargrove (25th), Scott Nehemiah (26th), Kamari Rowe (29th), Christion Landers (32nd), Kai Revere (33rd), and Javion Lane (35th).
The Panthers will continue to excel and strengthen their performance as the prepare for their next meet on October 24th, the 2025 SIAC Cross Country Championships.
