ATLANTA, Ga. - After the come-from-behind victory over Morehouse, 37-36, Clark Atlanta had two selections for the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Week 5 honors as Johnathon McCrary was named Offensive Player of the Week and Dre Martin was named Newcomer of the Week.

McCrary went 27-for-45 for 456 yards and five touchdowns while Martin recorded seven receptions for 238 yards and three scores. The duo had scoring plays from 35, 48, and 17 yards in the second half rally.

Clark Atlanta has the second-highest scoring offense in the SIAC averaging 27.6 PPG - one point behind Tuskegee. The 2015 Panthers under the same coaching staff struggled to just 10 PPG.
 
The Panthers trail Tuskegee by less than half-a-yard (373.4 - 373.0) in average yards of offense per game. The yardage is fueled by the SIAC leading 267.6 passing yards/G.
 
CAU special teams is again at the top of the SIAC with the No. 1 ranked kickoff return average as the Panthers are averaging 268 yards/return. Deandre Jackson leads the conference averaging 34.2 yards/return.
 
Jackson sits atop the SIAC in all purpose yardage. Jackson has 143 receiving yards, 95 on punt returns, and 410 on kick returns to total 648 yards in five games. The senior averages 129.6 yards/G overall.
 
Clark Atlanta has been flagged for 74 penalties for 782 yards (156.4 yards/G) to be the most penalized team in the country.
