Box Score Atlanta, Ga. --- Mykala Jones' last second shot wouldn't fall as the Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers fell tonight to Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) foe Spring Hill College, 78-76. Mykala Jones led the way for the Lady Panthers with 23 points. Elissa VandeWaa led the scoring for the Badgers with 20.

The Lady Panthers (6-7, 3-4 SIAC) trailed by as much as nine in the first half, but were able to rally to take the lead going in to halftime, 39-37. The Lady Panthers held the lead for the first four minutes of the second half, but were never able to gain the upper hand again the rest of the way. Down by five with a minute remaining, CAU was able to put themselves in a position to win in the final seconds, but Mykala Jones' jump shot from the corner hit the front of the rim as the buzzer sounded.

The Lady Panthers return to action on Tuesday, January 20th as they take on Selma University at Epps Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 PM. They will resume SIAC play on Thursday, January 22nd, as they travel to Clafin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
