Box Score Frankfort, Ky. --- The Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers dropped their second straight Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) game on the road, as they fell to Kentucky State 81-68. Siera Bubb led the way for the Lady Panthers with 18 points and six rebounds. The Thorobretts of Kentucky State had five players in double-figure scoring, led by Shaia Horton with 16.

The Lady Panthers (4-6, 1-3 SIAC) led much of the first half, but saw their lead disappear in the last seconds of the half as they trailed by two at half-time. The Thorobretts came out hot in the second half and opened up a 14 point lead just five minutes into the half. They never surrendered the lead the rest of the way.

Nekia Sockwell recorded three steals and Denissea Law added two blocks for the Lady Panthers.

The Lady Panthers continue their road trip as they take on Lane College on Monday, January 12th. The Lady Panthers will then return home on Thursday, January 15th, as they take on Tuskegee University.
