ATLANTA, Ga. —The Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers garnered the third spot in the East Division in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference seeding announced today for the 2014 Softball Championship Tournament, which will be played from Thursday, April 24 through Saturday, April 26, at the Gerald Matthews Sports Complex in Hampton, Georgia.
In the first round of the double-elimination tournament, CAU, who finished the regular season 19-21 overall and 13-13 in conference play, will face the second-seeded Lady Tigers of Stillman College (20-26 Overall, 18-8 SIAC) of the West Division Thursday, April 24, at 12 p.m.
