Augusta, Ga.— Senior Alia Williams led Clark Atlanta University with one homerun, three doubles, four RBIs, and six runs scored to down the Lady Lions of Paine College 10-4 and 11-3 Sunday in a conference match-up series.

The Lady Panthers jumped out the box early in the first game scoring six runs in the first inning. They added two more insurance runs in the fifth and led the entire game. Despite a comeback attempt from the Lady Lions, they yielded a 10-4 decision in game one.

Game two was the much the same for CAU (8-6, SIAC 4-2) as the Lady Panthers continued to dominate securing an 11-3 victory which caused the game to end after the fifth inning due to the run rule.

Next, Clark Atlanta will host Anderson University in a double-header at HOME Tuesday, March 11th, @ 2 p.m., at the Lady Panthers Softball Field. Admission is FREE.
