Atlanta, Ga.---The senior duo of Conisha Hicks and Erika Sumpter combined for 44 points as the Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers topped Claflin University 75-63 at Epps Gymnasium Thursday. Hicks led all scorers with 29 points on 11-of-22 from the field while adding nine rebounds, six assists and four steals. Sumpter recorded her ninth double-double of the season with 15 points and a team-high 11 points. The Lady Panthers shot 44 percent from the floor while holding Claflin to 28 percent. Next, Clark Atlanta (14-6, SIAC 7-3) will host Paine College Thursday, Feb. 13, at 6 p.m., in Epps Gymnasium.
