Frankfort, Ky.- Senior center Erika Sumpter carried the Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers to two conference road wins over Lane College, 71-57, Saturday and Kentucky State, 75-58, tonight.

Sumpter recorded her fifth and sixth double-double on the season with a career-high 24 points and 16 rebounds against Lane and 20 points and 17 boards against Kentucky State. In both contests, Sumpter led the Panthers in scoring and rebounding followed by fellow senior Conisha Hicks who added 15 points and 10 assists in the victory of Lane. Along with Sumpter, a trio of Lady Panthers scored in double-digits inclduing Denissea Law with 18 along with Hicks and Nekia Sockwell who poured in 12 each as they cruised pass Kentucky State.

Next, CAU (9-3, 2-0) will host Tuskegee University Saturday, Jan. 11th, at 6 p.m., in Epps Gymnasium.
