Box Score 2 Macon, Ga.---With impressive mound work and a dominating performance at the plate, the Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers swept Wesleyan College 12-4 and 13-4 on the road Tuesday.
In game one, Nicolette Anderson threw a complete game with six strikeouts while allowing only seven hits. Outfielder Alia Williams crushed a two-run in the park homer to add to her four total RBIs on three plate appearances. Pitcher Barbara Goodwin, who picked up the win in game two, was perfect at the plate in both games while adding two RBIs on three hits including a three run blast over the left field wall.
With the win, the Lady Panthers improved to 4-3 overall as they enter East Divisional play in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) on the road against Albany State University Friday, Feb. 22, at 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
