Hampton, Ga.---In the first round of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) softball tournament , the Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers dropped to the loser bracket after a 2-0 loss to Tuskegee University at the Gerald Matthews Softball Complex in Hampton, Ga.

A two-run homer by Tuskegee's Tamaria Brown in the first inning gave the Lady Tigers the 2-0 advantage. Clark Atlanta struggled at the plate with only two hits by Nicolette Anderson and Arlena Gillespie.  The Lady Panthers will face the loser of #1 Albany State and #4 Fort Valley Friday, April 20, at 9 a.m.
