Box Score Atlanta, Ga. - Sophomore Conisha Hicks leads the way for Clark Atlanta Unviersity with a game-high 21 points as the Lady Panthers down Claflin University 66-58 Monday at Epps Gymnasium.

It was a block party for the Lady Panthers who recorded 13 blocks led by Erika Sumpter with seven and La'Quisha Lewis with four. CAU held a 29-22 half-time lead as they cruised to victory.

Hicks, who also pulled down eight rebounds, had six assists and two steals while hitting 3-of-4 from behind the arc. Shantress Thrash along with Sumpter and Lewis added 11 points each. Lewis also grabbed 12 boards as Clark Atlanta (4-8, SIAC 4-5) topped Claflin in rebounding 55 to 49. 

LaQuinta Guinyard led Claflin (3-10, SIAC 3-9) with 16 points, five assists and two steals.

Clark Atlanta will face the next four teams on the road starting with Tuskegee 1/19, before hosting Albany State at HOME Tuesday, 1/31, at 6 p.m.
