Nominations for the 2026 Athletics Hall of Fame now open

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Clark Atlanta University Athletics department is excited to announce that nominations for the 2026 Hall of Fame class are now open! Nominations will remain open from Wednesday, March 25, to Saturday, April 25, at 11:59 p.m.

The 2026 Hall of Fame class is set to be inducted during the week of homecoming, which takes place on Saturday, October 17. The exact date of the 2026 Hall of Fame Induction will be announced soon. Inductions will take place every two years, with the next class being inducted in 2028.

Hall of Fame inductions will now take place every two years. Ballots can only rollover for three years; after three years, a new nomination must be submitted.

The following categories are eligible for nomination:

Administrator
Athlete
Coach
Supporter of Athletics
Team

Eligibility Overview

Student-Athlete: Must be a graduate or have exhausted eligibility and be at least five (5) years removed from competition.

Coach: Eligible after four (4) years of service and no longer active at CAU.

Administrator / Contributor: Minimum four (4) years of service with significant impact.

Team: Eligible for four (4) years after achievement.
