Women's Tennis Streaks Through SIAC Round Up I with 7-1 Record Overall

Lady Panthers jump put to 7-1 conference record

Box Score 1 | Box Score 3 MOBILE, Ala. -- The Clark Atlanta women's tennis team traveled to Mobile, Ala. this past weekend to compete in the SIAC Round Up I at the Mobile Tennis Center. The Lady Panthers ended the weekend with a tremendous 7-1 record through eight matches to improve to 7-2 on the season.

Clark Atlanta started the weekend with 6-3 win over Albany State followed by a 6-1 trouncing of Lane College. On Friday, CAU suffered their first conference loss of the season to Tuskegee 4-1, but the undeterred Lady Panthers bounced back with a 7-0 sweep over LeMoyne-Owen.

On the final day of the event, Clark Atlanta downed Savannah State 4-0, Fort Valley State 4-0, Spring Hill 4-1, and finally Edward Waters 6-0.

Clark Atlanta women's tennis returns to action with another conference matchup on Saturday, February 17 as they head to Columbia, South Carolina to take on Benedict College at 2 p.m.
