ATLANTA, Ga. | On Friday, April 14, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance Joseph Arnold is set to speak at the 2023 Black Sports Business Symposium at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The event will take place starting Thursday, April 13, with the conclusion on Saturday, April 15.

Mr. Arnold's session is scheduled at 2 p.m. on Thursday (Apr. 14). The session is titled "Compliance a Gateway Into Collegiate Athletics." During his time, he will talk about the growth of the importance of compliance administrators in the ever-changing and evolving landscape of collegiate athletics. He'll highlight the charge for institutions and their athletic departments to create cultures of compliance and how imperative the roles of compliance administrators are to institution/team success and the overall student-athlete experience.

When asked about speaking at the symposium, Arnold had this to say, "This year has not been just about being intentional, but leaving a lasting imprint and impression upon anyone I interact with; career-wise being no exception. Thus being presented with the opportunity to speak at this year's symposium is truly an honor and aligns with that philosophy. I am looking forward to sharing the stage with such brilliant professionals to provide insight into this industry and uplift this and the next generation."
