JACKSONVILLE, Fla. | The Clark Atlanta men's basketball team placed four players in double-figures on the way to an 83-80 overtime victory over Edward Waters on Monday evening inside the Adams-Jenkins Complex. Justin Longstreet led the charge with a game-high 23 points in the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• A trio of Panthers chipped in early baskets to keep CAU within an 8-7 deficit with three minutes gone off the clock.
• EWU's lead swelled to eleven (27-16) with 9:28 left to play in the first half.
• Jalen Williams scored 12 first-half points but the Panthers fell behind 47-38 heading into the intermission.
• Demetrius Headspeth and Dez'Mond Perkins combined for four points to open the second half and cut the margin to seven (49-42).
• The Tigers used an 8-5 run to stretch their lead back to 10 points (57-47).
• Clark Atlanta was able to close out regulation on a 28-18 run to tie the score at 75 apiece and force overtime.
• Both squads scored five overtime points apiece to keep the score even at 80 all with 5.3 seconds left.
• Justin Longstreet knocked down the go-ahead three-pointer at the buzzer to edge Clark Atlanta past Edward Waters 83-80.
