ATLANTA, Ga. | The Clark Atlanta men's basketball team fell short 78-54 to the Morehouse Maroon Tigers on Saturday afternoon inside Epps Gymnasium. Despite the loss, Jalen Williams scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Clark Atlanta jumped out to a 10-5 lead after Dez'Mond Perkins scored four of the team's first 10 points.
• The Maroon Tigers used a 13-4 run to take an 18-14 lead with 10:55 left to play in the first half.
• The Panthers headed into the locker room facing a 41-28 deficit. 
• Morehouse's advantage grew to as much as 20 at the 8:55 mark in the second half.
• Despite two players in double-figure scoring, the Clark Atlanta Panther suffered a 78-54 loss to Morehouse College.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE 

• Jalen Williams led the way in scoring for CAU with 20 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Williams shot 4-of-8 from behind the three-point line.
• Justin Longstreet added 11 points to CAU's scoring effort. 
• Dez'Mond Perkins grabbed three steals to add to his six-point day.
