Panthers Baseball Falls in Final Game of Series against Tuskegee

Box Score ATLANTA, Ga. | The Clark Atlanta Panther baseball team lost its conference series against Tuskegee on Sunday, February 26, at Bill Evans Field

CAU struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Tuskegee, giving up ten runs on the day.

Tuskegee opened up scoring in the first inning when Cody Willis singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

A single by Kentavious Veal in the first inning was a positive for Clark Atlanta.

Cyree Broughton earned the victory on the hill for Tuskegee. The pitcher lasted nine innings, allowing seven hits and zero runs while striking out four and walking one.

Michael Fegins took the loss for Clark Atlanta. The lefthander went five innings, allowing five runs on nine hits and striking out one.

CAU logged seven hits on the day. Cedric Holt and Veal each registered multiple hits for the Panthers.

Tuskegee tallied 14 hits in the game. Alex Glass, Jeremy Hawkins, Harrison Barnes, Mark Hatch, and LaBrauns Stinson each had multiple hits for Tuskegee. Glass went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Tuskegee in hits.
