CAU Names Brandy Outlaw Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach

ATLANTA, Ga. | Clark Atlanta Director of Athletics Dr. Jerel Drew has announced the hiring of CAU Alumni Brandy Outlaw as the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach.

Outlaw joins the staff after serving the Metro Atlanta area as a strength coach for several years. He's worked with athletes in all sports and walks of life. His work has contributed to five state championships in football, three state championships in basketball, two state championships in baseball, six All-Region softball players, two All-American honors, four soccer All-Americans, and 10 track All-Americans. 

Outlaw has trained over 200 collegiate athletes on full scholarship, 12 professional athletes in the NFL, one MLS player, and two professional Softball America athletes. He's trained over 400 individuals in the Atlanta area. 

Outlaw hails from Decatur, Georgia. He graduated from Lithonia High School where he played football. After high school, he attended Clark Atlanta University, majoring in business and minoring in kinesiology. During his time at CAU, Outlaw had the opportunity to play for the late great Coach Crocket and later Coach Tracy Ham. Prior to graduating from Clark, Outlaw joined the military and served as a combat veteran of the war in Iraq. He is also a member of the Clark Atlanta Players Association and Booster Club.

Outlaw resides in Atlanta, Ga. where he lives with his seven kids and his wife.
