ATLANTA, Ga. – The Clark Atlanta Panthers men's basketball team cruised to their first 5-0 start since 1995 after defeating Voorhees University 79-59 on Wednesday evening inside Epps Gymnasium. Chris Martin paced the Panthers with a game-high 26 points to lead all scorers on the night.

Shemani Fuller and Andrew Stewart chipped in 13 points each while Jalen Williams added 10 points and 11 rebounds for his first double-double performance of the season.

Voorhees jumped out to an early 8-4 lead after a jumper and a made free throw gave the Tigers a four-point advantage less than four minutes into the contest. The Panthers then responded with a 10-0 run capped off by a Chris Martin layup to regain the lead at 14-8.

Clark Atlanta remained in control for the rest of the first half, boasting a 38-26 advantage heading into the intermission. Shemani Fuller opened the second half with three quick points which included a dunk to extend the Panthers' lead to 15 (41-26).
