Lady Panthers Bounce Back Against Paine College

Volleyball picks up a sweep on the road

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Shynique McGee (Atlanta, Ga.) extended her double-digit kill streak to 17 games to power Clark Atlanta women's volleyball past Paine College 3-0 on Tuesday night in Augusta, Georgia.

McGee led the offensive effort for Clark Atlanta, registering 15 kills with an attacking percentage of .346 and eight digs in the win. Sophomore setter Sanaa Simmons led all setters in assists with a game-high 19 on the night. 

Freshman libero Nakayla James (Altamonte Springs, Fla.) scooped a game-high 10 digs on the defensive end for the Lady Panthers.

Clark Atlanta posted their sixth sweep of the season after downing Paine College. The Lady Panthers took set one 25-23, set two 25-18, and set three 25-17.
