The Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers tennis team is on the Gulf Coast for the next three days to participate in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's Round-Up II.Â
The Lady Panthers, who hosted this season's first SIAC Round-Up last month, are looking to crack the win column after an injury-plagued 2022 season so far. CAU has been forced to play with only four players the majority of the season.
Now that changes as they will be playing six players. CAU regains the services of
Nicola Ramdyhan who is returning after a knee injury earlier this season. Ramdyhan, a graduate student playing in her final season, is the Lady Panthers' most experienced player and was the SIAC's 2018 Freshman of the Year. The team has also picked up a new player in
Zaire Lamb, a freshman from Tallahassee, Fla.
CAU opens the Round-Up today with a 9 a.m. match against Tuskegee, followed by a noon meeting with Albany State. They close out the day at 4 p.m. when they take on Benedict.  Friday, the Lady Panthers open the day with LeMoyne-Owen at 9 a.m., followed by a noon meeting with hosts Spring Hill before closing the day with a 3 p.m. match with Savannah State. CAU ends Round-Up play on
Saturday at 9 a.m. when they face Fort Valley State.
