At noon today in Rock Hill, S.C., the Clark Atlanta University Panthers will take on the LeMoyne-Owen College in the second round of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Tournament. Â

Clark Atlanta advanced yesterday after defeating Central State 79-64 in a game where they led pretty much the entire game.Â

Chris Martin both led the victorious effort with 17 points a piece.Â
Today they take on a LeMoyne-Owen squad they fell to 85-78 last Thursday in Memphis. It was a game where the Panthers whittled a 20-deficit down to seven before losing. In that game, Martin led three Panthers in double figures with 21 points. Gjerard Wilson, one of the SIAC's top 20 scorers, had 25 points in that game. LeMoyne-Owen enters the tournament as the third seed from the West Division, having won four of their last five games.Â
The winner of today's game plays Benedict, the second seed from the East Division, Thursday at 4:45 p.m. in the quarterfinal round of the tournament.Â
