Lady Panthers Defeat Paine 77-52

Reyana Miller had 24 points as Clark Atlanta avenged a loss to Paine five days ago, defeating the Lions 77-52 in Augusta, Ga., Saturday.

The Lady Panthers (7-15, 5-8 SIAC) were coming off a game against Paine (7-13, 6-7 SIAC) in
which they scored just 46 points, their lowest point output of the season. Saturday, the Lady Panthers hit 43 percent of their shots and led by as many as 27 points.

Clark Atlanta led pretty much the entire game, going up 50-23 on Naomi Holloway's jumper with 5:54 remaining in the third quarter for their largest lead.

Miller had 24 points, four rebounds, three assists and a steal for Clark Atlanta.  Holloway finished with 18 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two assists, while Nailah-Mawusi
Mitchell had 17 points, four rebounds, three steals and a block.  Morings pulled down seven rebounds while scoring five points.

Briona Andrews led Paine with 12 points, while Keondra Archie added nine points and a game-high 13 rebounds.

CAU remains in the fifth spot in the SIAC East after the win, but only two games separate them from second place behind Benedict.

Clark Atlanta returns to L.S. Epps Gymnasium on Monday, Feb. 10 when they host Benedict at 6 p.m.
