Clark Atlanta University's
Dazya Mitchell has earned a spot on the 2019 SIAC Women's Cross Country All-Conference team.
Friday, Mitchell, a sophomore, finished in sixth place in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships in Rock Hill, S.C., with a time of 20:48.5, to earn her spot on the All-Conference team.
It's the second consecutive year that Mitchell has made the All-Conference team.
Her performance Friday helped the Lady Panthers to finish sixth in the SIAC Championships, which Spring Hill College won.
Courtney Johnson came in 28
th, finishing in 22:41.2, while
Kayla Partee (25:03.4) was 41
st.
Adoris Gibbs was 45
th with a time of 25:25.2, Ariane Stubbs (26:10) finished 50
th, and
Alicia Gill (52
nd) had a time of 26:36.1.
