Five Clark Atlanta University Panthers who have helped lead the team to a 21-3 record and a national ranking this season will be playing their final home game tonight at L.S. Epps Gymnasium when the Panthers host Albany State University at 8 p.m.

Seniors Anthony Williams, Damien Davis, Akil Douglas, Michael Vigilance and Samson Akilo will be honored during Senior Night tonight

"I'm really proud of them," said CAU Head Coach Darrell Walker. "These are guys that have been here and have helped build the foundation on what we stand now.  I'm happy for those guys. It's great to honor those guys and I hope we get a big crowd out to honor them."

Douglas leads the Panthers in scoring and rebounding, while Davis and Williams – both preseason All-Conference picks – have been steady and leading influences on the team. Vigilance and Akilo have been valuable players off the bench.

But Walker cautions his team to be ready for an Albany State team that despite losing their first 13 games this season, has won five of their last seven games and pushed No. 11 Morehouse Saturday before falling late, 76-63.

They are led by Michael Hughes and Rahdin Hughes, both of them averaging 11 points per game.

"You still have to respect Albany State and be ready to play," Walker said.  "You have to respect your opponents, which is what I say all the time.  We have to be ready to play. We're sitting here at 21-3, but I still don't think we have played as good as I know we can play."
