MOBILE, Ala. - Clark Atlanta men's basketball used a fast break layup from
Derek Harper in the closing seconds to complete the come-from-behind victory at Spring Hill; 73-70. CAU trailed the entire second half until the Harper basket and later added a pair of FT from
Lawrance Triplett to complete the scoring.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
First Half | After falling behind by as many as five points Clark Atlanta rallied to tie the game on a
Damien Davis layup with 15:31 to play in the half; 11-11. Davis would tie the game again 88 seconds later; 13-13.
Tajai Johnson added a game-tying 3-pointer; 16-16.
Tim Sanders knocked down a 3-pointer of his own to put CAU ahead with 11:26 remaining; 19-16. Sanders later added another 3 before
Chuka Eneh connected on trio of 3's over the course of three minutes keeping the Panthers ahead with 4:24 remaining; 33-30. Eneh was later fouled in the act of shooting a 3 and was good on all three FT attempts. Spring Hill closed the half on a 7-1 run to tie the game with 51 seconds remaining; 37-37.

Clark Atlanta shot 11-for-31 (35.5 percent) from the floor while making 8-of-11 shots from 3-point range. CAU was outrebounded, 22-15. Spring Hill shot 14-for-27 (51.9 percent) from the floor in the opening half.

Second Half | Spring Hill started the half on a 7-2 run to take the 44-39 advantage.
Derek Harper and Sanders each were good from 3-point range to cut the lead to one point with 13:43 left; 49-48. Trailing by three points with 55 seconds remaining,
Damien Davis was good on a pair from the FT line before Harper tipped in the missed basket to close a 4-0 run moving CAU ahead by one point; 71-70. Spring Hill got off a jumper in the closing seconds that Sanders grabbed the rebound and passed to
Lawrance Triplett before the SHC foul could be applied. Triplett made both from the FT line for his lone points of the game to cement the 73-70 come-from-behind victory.
TEAM NUMBERS:
Clark Atlanta shot 21-for-64(32.8 percent) from the floor and 18-for-27 (66.7 percent) from the FT line. CAU made a season-high 12 3-pointers in the game.

The Panthers were outrebounded, 43-35, but held the 13-8 lead in offensive rebounds.

CAU held the advantage in bench scoring, 28-20, steals, 6-3 and points off turnovers, 17-7. The Panthers forced 17 Badger turnovers.
INDIVIDUAL NUMBERS:
Five Panthers scored in double figures led by the game-high 18 points from Harper, followed by Eneh (16), Sanders (12), Davis (10) and Johnson (10).

Davis led the team with seven rebounds and three assists while Johnson led the game with three steals.
