ATLANTA, Ga. - Picking up the start in the season-opener, Matthew Daniels found the end zone for the first time since his freshman season in 2014 when he scored four times.

On a second quarter scoring pass from Dashawn Blow to Jordan Dooley was the first CAU scoring pass for Blow and the first receiving score for Dooley. Dooley scored twice in his freshman season (2013) on rushing attempts.

With nine tackles recorded in the season opener, Jacob Mitchell reached triple digits for career tackles while at Clark Atlanta. The senior linebacker - who shifted from MLB to OLB - is now credited with 105 career stops including 10 behind the line-of-scrimmage.

After converting from quarterback Trenton Earl now starts at wide receiver. Earl played in just three games as a junior in 2015 but tallied three receptions. Earl grabbed two passes in the first game of the 2016 seasons for 33 yards.

This game will match two teams who had nearly similar rushing numbers in Week 1. Both the Panthers and Marauders rushed 31 times - with CSU racking up 138 yards while CAU rushed for 136 yards.
