ORANGEBURG, S.C. - Clark Atlanta has now lost back-to-back matches in straight sets after dropping the 3-0 road match at SIAC East rival Claflin.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
After scoring four-of-five points midway through the opening set, Clark Atlanta held the 12-10 advantage as
Taylor Prude tallied one of her game-high 10 kills. Clark Atlanta held off a rally later in the set to maintain a 22-20 lead before Claflin would score the final five points in the set.
CAU would lead 3-1 early, and later 6-5. Claflin responded with four in-a-row to take the lead for good in the second set. The Panthers trailed by just two, 20-18, before Claflin responded with the final five points again to win the second set.
The third set saw Prude cement a 6-2 lead with another kill. After CAU fell behind 13-11, five straight Clark Atlanta points but the Panthers ahead 16-13. Claflin ended the night on a 12-3 run for the straight set victory.
THE NUMBERS:
Claflin outhit Clark Atlanta, .132 - .040. CAU trailed 31-30 in kills and 34-31 in digs.
Prude was the lone player in the match to reach double-digits in kills.
Sierra Scoggins (eight) was second on the team.
Kiara Govan had a team-high 18 assists while
Dariyan Stallings tallied 12 digs for the match-high.
