TUSKEGEE, Ala. - Clark Atlanta women's basketball scored 52 points - second lowest of the season - in a road loss at Tuskegee; 74-52. The offense struggled, shooting just 33 percent from the floor for the game and were outrebounded 51-40 on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED:After trailing early
Whitney Collins tied the game with a layup before
Gia Banks gave Clark Atlanta the lead, 5-2, with 7:47 remaining in the opening quarter.
Tuskegee rallied the lead away before CAU tied the game, 7-7, on a jumper by
Mykala Jones with 5:07 left in the first quarter.
Nekia Sockwell retied the game, 12-12, after complete the 3-point play after being fouled on the layup.
Tuskegee utilized an quarter-ending 12-0 run, 14-0 overall, to take the lead for the remainder of the game. A 6-0 run in the fourth quarter pushed the home advantage to 24 points for a game-high.
THE NUMBERS:Clark Atlanta shot 18-for-54 (33.3 percent) and made just 4-of-15 from 3-point range. The Panthers shot 11-for-19 from the FT line.
CAU scored just five points off 11 Tuskegee turnovers. TU turned 20 Panther turnovers into 19 points.
CAU was outscored from the bench, 20-8, points in the paint, 26-18, and second chance scoring, 19-6.
Jones (16) and Banks (12) were the lone scorers to reach double-digits in the game for Clark Atlanta.
Collins pulled in a game-high nine rebounds.
Banks led the Panthers with two assists while Sockwell registered two steals for a team-best.
UP NEXT:Clark Atlanta will be on the court from Epps Gymnasium one last time on Feb. 15 for Senior Night versus Paine at 6:00 p.m. The season will conclude with road game at Benedict and Claflin.
