ATLANTA, Ga. - Clark Atlanta men's basketball had five players exceed ten points in a non-conference game versus Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foe Miles College in a 92-86 home loss from Epps Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:Miles scored the opening basket of the game before
Tim Sanders put Clark Atlanta ahead with a three-point play, making the layup and the ensuing FT, with 18:40 remaining in the opening half.
Sanders later tied the game with a jumper before a
James Arnold 3-pointer produced the largest Panther lead of the night, 10-7, with 16:23 left before halftime.
Darreaontae Moore knocked down a 3-pointer off the
Derek Harper assist for the final CAU advantage of the game, 13-11, with 14:23 left in the first half.
Clark Atlanta fought back to tie the game twice in the first half but trailed at the intermission, 43-40.
Miles jumped out to a 21-point second-half lead, 73-52, utilizing a 19-2 run.
A 19-5 run pulled the Panthers within five points when Arnold added another 3-pointer. CAU would cut the deficit to as little as three points, 84-81, with two minutes to play in the game.
THE NUMBERS:Clark Atlanta turned 17 turnovers by the Golden Bears into 17 points. The Panthers held the 17-10 advantage in points off turnovers.
CAU outscored Miles on the fast break, 12-8, but trailed in bench scoring, 46-19, and points in the paint, 38-26.
Clark Atlanta shot 27-for-65 (41.5 percent) from the floor while going 6-for-16 from 3-point range. The Panthers added 26-for-34 from the FT line.
Damien Enoch scored 20 points for the game-high. He has now scored 20+ points in three of the last four games. He also registered his fifth double-double of the season with 10 rebounds - also a game-high.
Arnold (19), Sanders (13), Harper (12), and
Tajai Johnson (12) also reached double-digits with Johnson doing his off the bench.
Harper and Sanders each tallied three steals with Harper leading the Panthers with four assists.
