ATLANTA, Ga. - Clark Atlanta men's basketball fought back from a nine point deficit to take the lead in the second half but suffered the loss at home to Claflin; 75-73. Four players scored in double-digits for Clark Atlanta in the effort.

HOW IT HAPPENED:An 8-0 run started the Clark Atlanta scoring after allowing Claflin the first four points of the game. In the run,
Derek Harper and
James Arnold knocked down 3-pointers with
Damien Enoch hitting a jumper in between.
A 22-5 run for Claflin established the visiting team with a 26-13 advantage for the largest lead of the game for either team.
Clark Atlanta responded with an 11-0 run over two minutes opening with an Enoch dunk and concluding on another 3 from Harper. CAU would trail by just two points at the intermission, 28-26.
CAU retook the lead momentarily in the second half, 44-43, after
Tajai Johnson was good on a layup off the
Tim Sanders assist with 11:52 to play.
After Claflin led, CAU was back in front, 55-54, after the second of two FT attempts made by Harper.
Clark Atlanta built a four point lead, 60-56, with 5:25 left in the game before Claflin responded with a 4-0 burst.
A Harper jumper with 4:31 left put CAU ahead 65-60, for the final time as Claflin scored 15 of the next 23 to end the game.
THE NUMBERS:Clark Atlanta shot 41.8 percent (23-for-55) from the floor and made 5-of-10 from 3-point range. CAU also added 22-fpr-31 from the FT line.
CAU turned 15 Claflin turnovers into 15 points. Clark Atlanta held the 15-11 advantage in points off turnovers.
Clark Atlanta was behind in bench scoring, 27-17, and points in the paint, 38-22, but was ahead in fast break scoring, 12-6.
Harper scored a game-high 19 points on 5-of-12 shooting, including a trio from 3-point range.
Sanders (18), Enoch (13), and Johnson (14) all reached double-digits on the night.
Enoch added seven rebounds for the team-high while Harper had a team-best four assists.
Devante Harvey registered three steals ahead of two each for Sanders and Arnold.
UP NEXT:Clark Atlanta will host Miles in a stand-alone men's game on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. before heading to Tuskegee early next week.
