MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Clark Atlanta sent the women's tennis program to compete in the first of two crossover events for the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), with the Panthers winning 4-of-5 matches in two days.
Clark Atlanta went 3-0 on Friday with wins over Albany State (6-0), LeMoyne-Owen (7-0), and Lane (7-0 via forfeit).
On Saturday, CAU split the matches with Benedict (L; 6-1) and Spring Hill (W; 5-4).
Tori Pradier went 3-0 in singles actions from the No. 1 slot while
DiAndrea Galloway added a 3-1 record from No. 2 Singles.
The tandem of Pradier and
Avern Gumbs was undefeated with a 4-0 mark as the No. 1 team with
Vonnick Boyogueno and Galloway going 3-1 as the No. 2 Doubles pairing.
Clark Atlanta will return to the CAU Courts on Feb. 29 in the make-up match from the rain out on Feb.1 versus Augusta University.
